OSWEGO COUNTY PRESENTS COMMENDATION – The Oswego County Legislature recognized the Oswego County 4-H program’s riding teams for the rare accomplishment of having three teams participate in team riding competitions at the 2015 New York State Fair. The members of each team, including a 12-person, Western-riding drill team; an English Quadrille team; and a 5-person parade team, demonstrated their excellent horsemanship skills by riding their horses together in synchronized movements and patterns which were choreographed to music. As a result of their long practice hours, hard work and dedication, all three teams brought home a blue ribbon for first place in each of their competitions.
