OSWEGO COUNTY RECOGNIZED WORLD PANCREATIC CANCER DAY

OSWEGO COUNTY RECOGNIZED WORLD PANCREATIC CANCER DAY -Oswego County recognized Nov. 13 as World Pancreatic Cancer Day to raise awareness about one of the most deadly forms of cancer. With roughly 80 percent of the nearly 50,000 diagnoses each year resulting in death, pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. Research into early detection and effective treatment is imperative to the survival, health and well-being of men and women around the world. Oswego native Dennis Feeney lost his courageous battle with the disease in January of this year. His mother and brother were at hand to receive the proclamation. Pictured from left are Michael K.
