COUNTY CELEBRATES AGRICULTURE LITERACY WEEK
COUNTY CELEBRATES AGRICULTURE LITERACY WEEK - The Oswego County Legislature's Economic Development and Planning Committee recently presented a proclamation marking Agriculture Literacy Week to Cornell Cooperative Extension Executive Director Paul A. Forestiere II. Oswego County farmers provide a wide variety of products to residents through grocery stores, farm stands and farmers' markets. It is important that people understand how food goes from the farm to their table, so second-grade classes across the state welcomed volunteers to read a book with an agricultural theme and provide hands-on lessons.
