COUNTY HOLDS ANNUAL GOVERNMENT DAY

COUNTY HOLDS ANNUAL GOVERNMENT DAY – Paul A. Forestiere II, executive director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, discussed the importance of teaching young people about county government at the Oswego County Legislature’s May meeting. One of many programs offered by the agency, Government Day provides students with the opportunity to tour several government offices; learn about debate strategies and conduct a mock debate; and actively participate in a real legislative session with their representative.
