SENIOR VOLUNTEER RECEIVES PROCLAMATION
SENIOR VOLUNTEER RECEIVES PROCLAMATION - The County Legislature's Human Services Committee presents Georgia Davis of Mexico a proclamation recognizing her outstanding volunteerism in the Oswego County community. Georgia was honored as Oswego County's Senior Volunteer of the Year by the New York State Office for the Aging in Albany where she met with Senator Patty Ritchie and Assemblyman Will Barclay. She has volunteered with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, 4-H, the Pregnancy Center of Oswego and as a Sunday school teacher. She is also an AmeriCorps volunteer and was nominated by Kathy Andolina at the Oswego County Youth Bureau.
