The Oswego County Legislature's Human Services Committee recently recognized the local branch of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Transportation Network. The national program began in 1987 to ensure that veterans have free transportation to their medical appointments. Each year, volunteer drivers provide more than 670,000 rides to veterans across the country. The local team was honored for their commitment and dedication to serving those who have served their country. To join the cause, please call 315-729-7634 to become a volunteer driver.
