State and World Record Catches

Many places claim to be sportfishing "capitals," but Oswego County has the world and state records to prove it! Ten current world record fish, all confirmed by the International Game Fish Association, came from Oswego County waters. Three New York State record fish were also caught in Oswego County waters.
