Producer & Former Child-Actor Jimmy Hawkins to Visit Oswego Prior to the Seneca Falls It's a Wonderful Life Festival
On Wednesday, December 11 at 10 a.m. Jimmy Hawkins, who started acting at the age of two and played “Tommy Bailey” in It’s a Wonderful Life, will visit Oswego as part of his research as one of the producers of a major motion picture on Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, the only woman to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor. Coming to the area for the annual Seneca Falls It’s a Wonderful Life Festival, Hawkins feels it is important to take the opportunity to visit Oswego.

Fort Ontario Plans First Day Hike in Honor of 'FDR's Camp'
OSWEGO – Friends of Fort Ontario AmeriCorps staffer Corey King leads an hour-long, 1.5-mile First Day Hike at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. The walk will be at an easy pace around the 75-acre Fort Ontario Military Reservation National Register District in Oswego. The tour begins and ends inside the old stone fort where hot chocolate and coffee will be provided.
