Choices and Consequences: Alcohol and Drug Impairment
This presentation is designed for driver education and health classes. The full presentation is constructed for 90 minutes: Alcohol Awareness session is 45 minutes; Drug Awareness session is 45 minutes. Schedule one or both sessions.
This program is designed to interact with the students and get them thinking about the consequences of alcohol or drug impairment. It includes facts and statistics of impairment along with stories of real consequences suffered in the local community. Each session concludes with hands-on activities using Fatal Vision impairment goggles. Students perform tasks sober, then repeat while wearing the goggles to experience the difference. Not only does this add fun to the presentation but the students are able to comprehend the message presented.

We also schedule presentations with civic organizations, clubs, and businesses for either classroom settings or activity areas.
