Oswego County Fire Coordinator’s Office offers a Fire Related Youth (FRY) Program for our community. This program was developed to provide an opportunity for families to work with our department and address any concerns regarding their children and fire. Our program starts with a child and parent interview to assess risk level and to develop a successful educational component.

Identification is what brings the child to the attention of the FRY program. This may be accomplished through several ways: teachers, parents, guardians, fire service personnel, law enforcement personnel, and other agencies or community members. Anyone may refer a child as possibly needing an intervention.
