Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Winona Forest Tourathon Saturday, Feb. 8

A cross country ski tradition continues to bring skiers from across the country to participate in the Tourathon!

OSWEGO and JEFFERSON COUNTIES - - For the 40th time, on Saturday, Feb. 8, the Winona Forest Tourathon promises to once again delight nordic skiers from across the USA, providing participants with unrivaled cross-country skiing conditions.

Choosing from 3 race distances, participants can test their stamina on a 12.5K, 25K or 50K course. The Tourathon accommodates all ability levels, is family friendly and encourages students to participate at a reduced rate. The event is organized and hosted Hosted by Winona Forest Recreation Association (WFRA) at Winona State Forest in northern Oswego and southern Jefferson counties. Winona is known for the best cross-country ski trails in the Tug Hill Region.

A mass start takes place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 from the CCC Camp on County Route 90 in Mannsville. To register, visit SkiReg. Additional information is available at https://www.winonaforest.com
