All  transfer stations accept scrap metal for no charge.
Items accepted:

• wire
• metal plumbing fixtures and pipes
• aluminum storm doors
• small auto parts such as exhaust systems (no engine blocks or gas tanks)
• aluminum siding
• metal appliances ($15 CFC sticker must be purchased for appliances containing freon).
• hot water heaters
• bicycles
• pots and pans

Please see transfer station attendant before dropping off scrap metal. No sealed drums, fuel tanks, pressurized tanks will be accepted.
