Navigating Services For Children & Families

The division offers assistance with navigating a system of services for meeting the needs related to mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The division assists community members and provider partners with service information, access information, and advocacy.

The Division of Mental Hygiene also serves as a Single Point of Access (SPOA) for the following services available to children and youth with a serious emotional disorder and their families residing within Oswego County :
  •      Children and youth non-Medicaid care management
  •      Non-Medicaid Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS)
  •      Planned respite
  •      Community residential services
  •      Residential treatment facilities

A transportation service for children and youth with a serious emotional disorder is also available to assist with participating in needed services. Contact the division at 315-963-5361 to inquire or download the MH transportation application.
