Oswego County Nature Park at Camp Zerbe is currently hiring counselors for its 2023 summer day camp program.

Summer camp counselors serve at Camp Zerbe through the Oswego AmeriCorps Program. Oswego AmeriCorps serves youth in the county by providing fitness and nutrition education activities during the camp program.

AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance. Upon completion of the program, they also receive an educational award that can be used to pay on student loans or finance college, graduate school or vocational training at qualified institutions.

To meet minimum requirements, applicants must be at least 17 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent or be in the process of working on either.

Located in Williamstown, the Oswego County Nature Park at Camp Zerbe is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau. With more than 540 acres, the facility includes an interpretive nature center, pavilion, lodge, playground and other amenities.
