Oswego County Invites Job Seekers to Career Fair May 10

April 28, 2023

Oswego County Workforce New York (OCWNY) hosts its next job fair with a focus on employment opportunities in northern Oswego County. The event is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 at Selkirk Landing, located across from the Pulaski High School on U.S. Rte. 11, Pulaski. Oswego County Opportunities donated its space, also known as the Oswego County Opportunities Pulaski Family Welcome Center, for the career fair.

“OCWNY is excited to offer this opportunity for employers and job seekers to connect in person and discuss the experience and skills people can bring to openings available at local businesses,” said Rachel Pierce, executive director of the Oswego County Workforce Development Board. “Attendees can also learn about employment and training services offered by OCWNY to help job seekers develop their skill set and businesses owners enhance workforce opportunities at no cost to either.”

Employers from a variety of different industries will be in attendance, including Felix Schoeller, Staffworks, Tailwater Lodge, Connext Care, Oswego Health and Fulton Companies. These companies have positions available in manufacturing, health care, human services, maintenance, transportation, hospitality, warehouse, clerical, custodial and more.

OCWNY will have information about other services it offers to job seekers, such as resume assistance, online learning and funding options for training.

The OCWNY Career Center is located at 200 N. Second St., Fulton, across from Mimi’s Drive-In. It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments are not required.
