Oswego County Health Department Hosts August Mobile Food Pantries

*This news release has been updated to reflect a date change for the APW High School mobile food pantry. The date has changed from Saturday, Aug. 12 to Saturday, Aug. 26.*

The Oswego County Health Department partners with the Food Bank of Central New York to host multiple mobile food pantries throughout the county in August.

Anyone in need of food assistance can attend a mobile food pantry to receive a free box of food. There are no income requirements for recipients; however, boxes are limited to one per household while supplies last.

The August mobile food pantry schedule is:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Life Church, 2363 NYS. Rte. 49, West Monroe
  • Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Palermo United Methodist Church, 11 Co. Rte. 35, Fulton
  • Friday, Aug. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Rd., Oswego.
  • Saturday, Aug. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior/Senior High School, 639 Co. Rte. 22, Parish

Mobile food pantries are drive-up events and attendees are asked to stay in their vehicles.
