The Oswego County Legislature has canceled its Economic Development and Planning and Health Committee meetings, scheduled for 9 and 11 a.m. respectively, on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

The decision provides an opportunity for committee members and guests to attend services for long-time Oswego County Sheriff Reuel “Moe” Todd, who passed away on Aug. 31, which are planned for the same day.

The meetings will not be re-scheduled before the next full meeting of the Legislature that was previously moved to 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11 due to the annual New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) conference.
