The Oswego County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) wants to remind snowmobilers to complete their annual snowmobile registration for the upcoming winter season and keep a portion of the fee here at home.

Snowmobilers are encouraged to renew their registration at any of the three DMV offices in Oswego County, either by stopping into an office or sending it by mail. When registering in person or via mail at a local DMV location, 12.7% of revenue from those transactions stays in the county.

“We hope that all snowmobilers ride safely and responsibly this season and enjoy exploring Oswego County’s extensive trail network,” said Oswego County Clerk Terry Wilbur. “We’re happy to help customers get their snowmobiles registered at any of our local DMV offices. The registration process is quick and easy, and the revenue from the transaction stays right here in our county.”

All three local DMV offices are open from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Oswego branch remains open until 6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays.
