Thompson Retires After 32 Years With Oswego County

The Oswego County Legislature’s Health Committee presented Tammy Thompson with a certificate of appreciation for her 32 years of service. Thompson retires as the Oswego County Director of Programs for Children with Special Needs, having overseen the Early Intervention/Child Find, Pre-school Special Education and Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs programs. She has served on numerous boards and advisory councils in the community and has received multiple awards throughout her career, including Alzheimer’s Association of CNY Volunteer of the Year, Leadership Oswego County Distinguished Alumni Award and more.
