H. Lee White Maritime Museum Offers Eclipse Weekend Fun

The H. Lee White Maritime Museum, 1 W. First St. Pier, Oswego, will be open special hours in celebration of the upcoming total solar eclipse. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, visitors can come in and view exhibits such as a pre-1910 6-inch Brashear telescope (pictured), navigation equipment and a special shipwreck exhibit courtesy of longtime divers Tim Caza and Dennis Gerber of www.sonarguy.com. Admission prices are reduced for the weekend, at $8 for adults, $6 for teens and free for children aged 12 and under. Please note that the museum will be closed to the public on eclipse day, Monday, April 8, and parking will be prohibited on the West First Street Pier starting at noon.
