The Oswego County Solid Waste Department hosts its first free paper shredding event of the year for county residents from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 at the Oswego Transfer Station, 700 E. Seneca St., Oswego.

Residents may bring up to five bankers’ boxes full of documents to be shredded. Please make sure there are no folders, paper clips, staples or binder clips mixed in with the papers.
