Celebrate Older Americans Month with Family Game Night on May 7

May 3, 2024

The Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) hosts a family game night on Tuesday, May 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in celebration of Older Americans Month. The free event takes place at the OCO Pulaski Family Welcome Center, 10 Bella Rd., Pulaski.

“Family game night is part of our month-long celebration of Older Americans Month,” said OFA Director Sara Sunday. “This year’s theme is ‘Powered by Connection,’ which highlights the importance of seniors having social interactions for their health and well-being. We encourage our older residents and their families to come connect with each other and others through the power of play.”

A wide variety of games will be available for attendees to play together. Ageless Innovation has recently partnered with Hasbro on classic games with a twist to make them more age inclusive to seniors. Games that will be offered at the event include Game of Life Generations, Trivial Pursuit Generations, Memory, Scrabble and more.

Registration is required for the free event. For more information or to register, call the Oswego County Office for the Aging at 315-349-3484.
