April 26, 2024

The Fulton Public Library Board of Trustees invites members of the public to attend a budget information session on Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the children’s room of the library, located at 160 S. First St.

Library board members will discuss the 2024-2025 budget and give residents the opportunity to ask questions. Light refreshments will be provided.

“Our library continues to be a hub for lifelong learning and enrichment,” said Fulton Public Library Director Caroline Chatterton. “Through our innovative programming and events, we have fostered a sense of community and connectedness and strive to create opportunities for learning and creativity for patrons of all ages. We encourage residents to attend our informational session to learn about all the hard work we do to develop a budget that serves the library’s mission and meets the needs of our community.”

Copies of the library’s 2023 Annual Report to the Community will be available at the event for attendees. The report includes information about the library’s collection, usage, patronage, various programming, community engagement initiatives, and a breakdown of the 2022-2023 budget.
